I am writing you to officially tender my resignation from the position of Judge of the Universe effective immediately.  It seems that I was given the title in error, and it was never mine to begin with.

Working for you, sir, has been a memorable experience. I could not ask for a more qualified person to supervise me in this role.  I have changed in many ways here and will never forget the direction in which this position has taken me.

But unfortunately, I have been offered with an opportunity that I simply cannot refuse.  I’m sure you can understand, sir.

I will be accepting a position as myself over at The Room of Grace.

A place where I can begin to become who I was created to be, which is vastly different than my current position.

And while I may be tempted to miss my friends here and all they offer, I feel that it is time for a new and real experience.

Perhaps you’re like me and are prone to this position as well.  I would encourage you to turn in your notice along with me today.  And tomorrow.  And the day after that.  And the day after that.  Well, you get the point.

Two weeks is an admirable amount of time to give in most settings.

Not when it comes to our heart’s surrender.

The upgrade to the Standard Theme is complete.  I’m super excited to have the site set up on some solid coding.  I’m currently looking to have it *slightly* customized, so hopefully you’ll be seeing a lil’ more soon- aka a new header, for one.

Thanks to all who have stopped by so far in the 4ish months this site has been around.  It’s been a joy to connect with you all on here so far, and I appreciate your comments and dialogue.

I’m going to be continuing the Lent series posts this week, as I still feel like I have things to share.  I apologize if they’ve bored some of you, but this season is proving to be a defining time, I believe.

So, if you don’t mind, hang on for more.  I feel good things a comin’…

I’ll be tweaking this site on the weekend (hopefully) to a new design.  I’ll be using the Standard Theme, coded by John.  This is some super good stuff if you’re looking for a new site design.  I love how rock-solid the coding is, as well as the clean look.  Hopefully it will also help to get the word out on how folks can find this here blog.  Stay tuned for that…

So, where is the need?  What are your gifts?  How can you use these gifts for something bigger than your own benefit?

This is what I hope to discuss with you all, along with some other things, like:

-worship
-culture
-life
-marriage
-my experience leading worship in both a large church…
-and now as an occupation in a treatment center
-other things  :)

In my opinion, there are too many of us just waiting for heaven.  I, for one, would like to be a participant in bringing heaven down here to earth.

I can’t wait for the discussion.  Of course, you’ll have to join in with me for it to actually be that.
