About Me:

I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world.  April and I have two dogs, Russ and Banjo.  We are originally from North Carolina, but we’ve made Arizona home for four years now.

I have trouble saying no.  This has become an issue from time to time, to say the least.

I love music.  I always have.  My tastes have surely changed along the way, but my love for it has not.  I’ve yet to find any other medium that stirs the soul the way music does.

I am a worshiper.  I have been leading worship for about 5 years now, and I never saw it coming.  But, God did.  I now work at Remuda Ranch, where I oversee all of the chapels held.  Remuda is a Christian-based treatment center for young men and women struggling with eating disorders.  I have seen more evidence of Jesus there than I ever have in all the years attending what we call “church,” and has made me rethink what we’re doing with our weekly gatherings.

About this Blog:

I am passionate about community.  I have tasted real community before, and it is good.  I fully believe that God reveals himself best through people- first through Jesus, and now through the local church.  I believe in working together as uniquely-gifted individuals to bring things as they are in heaven down to earth.  I don’t just believe that….I believe that we are all called to it.

My hope is that we can build a community of people here that are interested in making a difference using the gifts that we each have.  That could mean partnering with each other, doing individual things, or something entirely corporate.  If this site has a mission or vision, it would be to see people come together, using their gifts to impact what’s important to Jesus:  the least of these.
