I hope one of the changes is adding a “like” feature like on face book :)

      Alece- I wish I could say that I couldn’t relate, but….. :)

Same here! This quote really struck me. I don’t normally stop mid-action to soak in the meaning of what I read, but with this quote I had to stop what I was doing and think about it. I love how CS Lewis always makes me stop and think (and grow).

      Thanks for sharing!

Stacey- Thanks for commenting! I try to leave the possibility open for quotes that aren’t CS Lewis’ on Fridays, but I just can’t seem to stray from them. They’re so good, in a completely wreck you kind of way…ya know?

I know exactly what you mean! Lewis always seems to shatter my perfectly-gift-wrapped view of God in one sentence (and sometimes in one thought). I recently finished ‘Orthodoxy’ by GK Chesterton who also has the ability to break my assumptions (and plus he proved God by using fairy tales, how can you NOT have a soft spot in your heart for him?!). Looking forward to reading more entries here!

Stacey- thanks for the Chesteron reference…never heard of him. I’ll have to check that out for sure. Who doesn’t love fairy tales for crying out loud?!?

Chesterton was the theologian who helped convert CS Lewis to Christianity.

I had no idea….another reason to check him out.
